Exercise is a way of keeping ourselves and our body healthy. Regular exercise helps protect us from heart disease, stroke, high blood pressure, diabetes, obesity. It is a one stop solution for most of our day to day ailment. Experts advice us to do 20 to 30 minutes of aerobic activity for three or more times a week and muscle strengthening activity and stretching at least twice a week to gain overall health benefits. If you are planning on exercising after a break of a considerable amount of time it is always better to start on a slow pace with walking, swimming etc and once comfortable with it can go on a tougher regime.
